Jackson Scarlett has been out for hours. I sniffed her hair. Her scent had changed since she became pregnant that coupled with her intense s****l appetite I had found it difficult to keep my hands of her. That was why she had probably come looking for me in the first place. The guilt I felt at not being able to save them ate at me. I didn’t know if Scarlett would forgive me if she lost them. It had only been last week we had discussed names. As my eyes never left her bump and continued to pray that they would make it. The doctors returned yet again to see if she was awake.
