Iris When I woke up I was on the sofa with a banging headache. Jackson was sat on the floor beside me and jumped up as I moved, concern evident on his face. As I sat up the memory of Mum attacking a large black wolf was fresh in my memory. As I swallowed the lump that had formed in my throat Jackson asked softly. “Did you remember something?” Unable to trust myself to speak I nodded, I could feel his eyes burning into to me but I didn’t want him to see the fresh tears that wanted to fall. “Do you want to talk about it?” He asked even more softly this time, crouching back down beside the sofa.
