Iris Luke met Thea and I in the hallway. He was our chaperone to Claire’s party as Jackson was away. Seen as we were literally a stones throw from the packhouse why we needed a chaperone was beyond me but Jackson insisted. Claire had been really upset that they were likely to miss her party.
