I was woken up by the sound of loud banging and shouting. I panicked, my mind putting me back to the Grounds. I rolled to hide, only to fall off the bed and heard Adam's shouting laughter. "Miranda!" He leaned over the side of the bed, looking down at me as I lay sprawled on the floor of the Packhouse. "Are you okay?" He asked, he raised himself on his forearms and flung his legs over the side of the bed, coming to land in a crouch behind me. My heart fluttered at the sight. "I'm....I'm okay." I blinked. He was here, whatever was making that noise wasn't dangerous. My worries were answered when Heath kicked my door open. He walked in banging a wooden spoon against a large pot. "Wake up!
