Kenneth had little knowledge of the game but heard an agreement made that they would all go straight off but end on a double. Again the order of pairs was decided by lot. Kyria and partner would be the last to throw. By watching the first pairs throw Kenneth soon got the idea.
The score was even. Now it was the final pairing. This would decide the match. Both wanted a double to finish. There were cheers as her dart hit double two. She was congratulated by her losing partner. She had pipped him at the post. But when she went to retrieve her dart she called him over to show her dart was just the wrong side of the wire
