She reached up, lightly kissed his lips and was gone. A kiss, a real kiss if only brief. His thoughts raced as he walked home. Was the Ice Queen finally melting? They were friends but did that kiss tell him more than friends. Was he reading too much into it? There was a bond, of sorts, but she still kept a distance.
