Marianna’s POV
I had a whole new type of dream. This was my first thought after a quiet but persistent knocking jolted me out of sleep. I wanted to get up and see what was going on but strange parts of my body were aching and my limbs were somehow blocked. Otherwise, I was very comfortable, surrounded by pleasant warmth and comforting scent. Only then did I open my eyes and gasped. All I could see was an enormously huge window and the sunlight coming through it that blinded me for a while. When my eyesight was back to normal, I realized that I was in a room I didn’t recognize, in a bed that isn’t mine and this thing that makes it so hard to move is wrapped around my waist muscular arm covered in tiny pale scars. I wiggled in panic.
