Maya trembled in fear that her mum was dead,what.. happened to my mum she asked the doctor in anxiety.
He took a deep breath and replied to her your mum is in coma just please rush down to the hospital.
Maya anxiety grew stronger. She acted strong and weak at the same time she went upstairs to Victor and explained all that had been happening.
Victor became furious with her and he resented her for telling him on time he hurriedly put on his clothes and followed her to the hospital.
When they arrived at the hospital it was about 10:50pm they headed straight to the doctor's office.
The kidney disease has expanded to the other kidney and it needs an urgent transplant and without it her life is at risk.
So how much her we talking about doctor victor asked the doctor explained to him that he can’t handle the operation by himself he need to take her to china for the transplant and for other treatments and everything will be over $30million.
Victor heaved a huge sigh. He looked at Maya who was already bathing herself in tears. He drew her close to himself and consoled her.
All maya could ask for was to see her Mum the doctor took her to the ward her Mum was maya laid close to her mum she took her mum hands draw it close to herself and cried
“Mum please don’t die I can’t bear the pain if you are gone where would I start from mum please don’t go…”
Victor consoled and encouraged her he told to go home and pray over her mum will be fine
The doctor told them to buy some drugs that will sustain her in the meantime while they looked for the money
The drugs were about $20,000 victor deposited $5,000 for some of the important drugs. They went to the car and drove home
Maya woke up the next day feeling tired and.- weak she freshened up her best friend(Elina)came in to cheer her up after hearing what happened to her Mum
Eliana took her outing they went to the mall she bought her clothes bags and other things just to make her feel better
But it was to no avail maya couldn’t even have interest in things that used to excite her,all she could think of was her Mum
Her phone rang it was the doctor calling not again she said to herself
The doctor said someone just transferred $30,000 to him for her mother’s treatment out of excitement she screamed on top of her voice she totally found she was at the mall
Maya was so happy she forgot to ask who the person was,she told Elina the good news Elina faked a smile and just pretended she was happy so she will not look suspicious
Maya told her to go with her so they can see her Mum but she declined rudely, maya was surprised but kept it to herself
She went to the hospital, after seeing the doctor’s face blooming with smiles she became more anxious to know what happened
The doctor explained to her that the CEO of Brooklyn company himself deposited that money for your mother’s treatment but he said he needs to see you before we start any thing
Like me, the CEO wanted to see me. She was surprised, but she went to see him.on getting to the office, the moment she saw the CEO, her breath became faster than usual. She was just stirring at him till he said hi!!
The CEO was indeed handsome his body shape and everything tells it all he was her complete spec in a guy
The CEO asked her to sit down brought out a file and ask her to sign
She was confused and ashamed to ask what was she signing for
The CEO asked if she was the daughter to the woman he paid for her medical bills? She replied yes
The CEO told her that this is a contract file he needed a wife to bear her kids and serve as a companion to him

Maya became furious “how do you expect me to just marry you I don’t know you and I can’t just get married to you like that and besides i have a finance I want to get married to am sorry to disappoint you”she stood up and decided to him
“Take my card in case you changed your mind”she took the card and left without saying anything further “i like this girl and am going to make her mine” his phone rang again for the fifth time
“Victor why do you always choose to disturb the hell out of me are you that wretched and poor that you can’t take care of your own ass what is it this time” victor paused for a while and replied don’t worry I won’t bother you again he hanged up
When you have money everybody loves you but when you are a failure nobody gives a damn about you
Maya when home still surprised about what happened her thoughts went deep as she constipated on what to do my love victor I can leave him for a total stranger but I also love my Mum I can’t watch her die like that what am I going to do
She looked at the card Ruby Brooklyn the CEO OF BROOKLYN COMPANY LTD was boldly written she was tempted to call the number when a strange number suddenly called it was Ruby
Ruby told her to come to the hospital immediately,she rushed to the hospital her Mum was up and looked pled but she was no longer in coma Maya was excited for the good news she ran to hug her Mum her mum spoke in a light and low tone “how have you been”her mum was in tears when she saw Maya she missed her baby so much she knew the stress Maya meant have gone through Just for her
Please enough with all this emotional talk and tell her why we are here Ruby said in a very rude tone
“Maya my baby I know it as not been easy for byou I know have cause you a lot of pain and problems and the money for transplant is really expensive”
Maya please just get married to this young man so you can save me. That's the only choice right now or do you want me to die??
Maya was surprised and confused at the same time who is getting married to who mum please am not going to marry someone I know nothing about an I already have victor an I love him
“Maya, I asked again, do you want me to die”??
“No mum, I don’t but I can’t be forced into something I will regret in the future, this is my future, I can’t spend it with someone I know nothing about please understand me mum”.
“Then you can divorce him the moment I am back on my feet, you know that right? so just get married to him and save me please”.
Maya thought for a while and later compiled to sign the documents.
