SeparatedKhel escorted Asphodel and Thadora to their accommodation and a young male walchin, called Nhid, showed the others the way to their rooms. Both the Houses had been built on the edge of the City, but at opposite sides. The House of Virgins lay on the east, near to the Meeting House while the House of Youth lay on the west, near the opposite side of the village.
Khel led the way and Asphodel and Thadora followed her. They entered a round building through a pair of double doors, guarded by two men, one on each side.
