Chapter 2

Alex's pov:

You can't even imagine how much I hate these meetings. Everything was so peaceful in my pack when all of sudden, another human rebellion. Their district never learn. How many times do I need to punish them? It's annoying.

I can't even imagine how hard it must be for werewolfs to have a human mate. They must be so stubborn. And for what? In the end,every one of them would submit. If I hade one, I would show her who she belongs to. My kind is too benevolent with their human mates. They just love them too much. I don't truly get it. It's so weak of them.

But as I was saying, today I have another meeting with general of human district. We need to discuss lot of things. Like better safety,punishments or what to do with human males. They are good for work but nothing else. And most of them are doing these pointless rebellions. It is not even legal for human males to be with human females. They belongs only to us werewolves. Just imagine that tragedy. Your own mate sleeping with some disgustin human male. They should wait only for us and be still virgins. That is the only right way.

General's home is about two hours from mine mansion. Drive is boring and I am thinking about lot of things. Like what if I will finally find my mate? I don't prefer human mates for their stubbornes but I would never reject my other half. She would just need some teaching before being perfect for me. I don't mind some punishments as well. I am quite old now and starting to lose hope. Being 35 and without a mate is not rare but not commont either. And I need a son, my legacy.

We are almost there when my wolf start to act strange. He was always kinda wild but now I only feel nervosity from him. I am confused. These meetings are not rare and he never acted like this. It is almost like something is going to happen. Something big. I want to think about it longer but we are there. I am looking from window. Before me is big garden with General,his mate and their daughter. Slaves are everywhere, standig as still as statues. They are probably scared of me as they should. I don't care about them and they know I would kill them for any disrespect. And if we are counting that my wolf is more nervous than any other days...They for sure should be careful. I am going out from the car when i see some redhead running from the house. She is the most beautiful creature I ever saw. Everyone starts to bow for me when her pretty eyes laid their sight to my face. Mate! She is my freaking mate. Someone pinch me.

I really want to go to her and take her but I have work to do. Stupid meeting first and then I can go to her and tell her how beautiful and delicate she is. I feel strong urge to tell her and everyone else that she is mine, but I need to hold it together. I am Alpha after all. She is safe in here and for sure can wait an hour or two.

,,A-Alpha? Are you alright? It is truly a pleasure to have you here again." That stupid General started to talk. How unfortunate. But what do he means by saying if I am alright? I was probably looking at my mate too intensively. I just couldn't help myself. She truly is gorgeous. I can only imagine these pretty babies that we would have together. I want minimally 5. Sound reasonable. That beauty needs to be in my bed for long time. I highly doubt that I would ever get enough of her.

Me and general are going inside and that's the moment when I can't see my mate anymore. I am already annoyed. I want to look at my gorgeous prophety. And I would...But this meeting first. The sooner it starts, the sooner it ends.

*Few hours later*

I am oficially done. I can't hold it together anymore. I need to see her,to hold her. I told General what is happening and he was more than happy to help me find her. Lucky bastard. He told me that this redhead girl is maid and maids live in blok B so you can guess where are we going. It is in the other side from his office and I am starting to be impatient. We are walking and walking but I can't smell her. I don't feel her scent. That is so strange. We are already here and still nothing. Not even a old one. It's like she wasn't here for days. I looked at General and he starts to be nervous. What the hell is happening in here?

,, I- I am really sorry Alpha. She should have been exactly here. I told everyone to not leave their own blocks as long as we two have a meeting b-but she probably didn't listened and get to garden or something." He better be f*****g joking. I had higher meaning of him. He can't even control few humans? And my mate is a rebel? I would for sure punish her for this. But firstly I need to find her. ,,Where are the gardens?!" I snap at General and he starts to walk with me behind his heels. She better be in that damn garden.

We are getting closer and closer when I can finally smell her absolutely loving scent. But I feel comfort only for a really small moment. Someone is with her. Some human male. I can smell it. She can only pray that it is not what i think it is.

We are closer to her scent when suddenly we are hearing some strange noise from garden house. I don't need to hear more. I kick the door and what I see completely cloud my judgement.
