30 // Scorned

Playing games in real life was nothing compared to playing on the phone, there was no pause button, no replay, no retries, no extra lives; once you crossed a line, there was no going back. Everything was well-planned, but there was a flaw to her plans, she forgot who she was messing with. At the end of the day, it was not just about her brother, it was also about Sienna, and Sienna was not someone to be provoked. Sienna was the type of person to push back harder when pushed, and that was one of the reasons Javier fell in love with her. Her children meant the world to her, and if anyone put them in danger, she would not hesitate to get rid of them, even if that person happened to be their father. There was no telling what she would do to Brianna for the stunt she pulled, guess she would have to wait and see. MJ Billings sent her house keys sooner than expected, and the very next morning, Brianna found herself waiting outside the monstrous mansion. At first she was excited about the possibility of selling one of MJ Billings' properties. However, the excitement died the moment she received a message from Sienna, demanding that they needed to talk. Brianna had no idea what Sienna and Javier were discussing, but she had to convince Sienna that she indeed called her to London for business and not to get even with her brother. MJ Billings could not have brought her house keys at the better time, this was the perfect opportunity to make amends with Sienna and make her see that Brianna had no bad motives in calling her over. Brianna went into the house, and it felt as if she was walking through the biggest mall, because of all the entrances, big rooms, and expensive furniture. If this house was going to be put on the market, it was going to be difficult to find buyers because it would definitely be super expensive. She was going around the house, taking notes on what to list when posting the house online, there was a lot to consider. She took pictures of everything and every room, it would be better to advertise it with pictures. She had just finished and was walking over to the sitting room when she came face to face with Sienna. She did not expect her to show up even though she was hoping for it. Brianna almost dropped her notebook and tablet from the fright. "Sienna, I didn't hear you come in." "What's the matter, Brianna? Why do you look so frightened? I mean, after all we are here to do business, aren't we? Brianna swallowed, subtly looking for the fastest escape route, because at this point, nothing about her attire said she was here for official business Sienna was dressed to kill in her biker suit. Brianna had never been intimidated by Sienna's big body before, but today, she felt like an ant about to be crushed under a boot. Sienna took big calculated steps towards her. "Look, Sienna, I–" Brianna gasped in shock as Sienna knocked her breath out through a punch to the stomach. She clutched her stomach as her possessions crashed to the floor, and she dropped to her knees. There was the woman she feared the most, this side of Sienna. She was after all, her brother's lover, she too had a dark side and knew how to throw a punch. "Oh, Bibi!" Sienna cooed as she squatted in front of her, her face void of any playfulness. "I thought you knew me better than anyone, but here we are. Look at me." She forcefully lifted her chin, her nails digging into her skin. "Listen to me carefully, Brianna Mendoza–" "My name is not–" Brianna gritted. "Who cares? Do you think your husband is going to care when he finds out who you really are? What do you think he is going to do when he finds out that you and your brother deceived the entire family?" Brianna felt her heart stop for a second. "You wouldn't dare." The devious smirk on her sister-in-law's face told her otherwise. "And what's stopping me, little one? Do you think I care what happens to either of you? Your mistake was thinking that you could bring my kids to the play and get away with it. Did you really think I was going to fall for your crap about business after the stunt you pulled last night?" Sienna's voice was venomous, she was nothing like the woman Brianna picked up from the hotel last night. "I don't care whether you are my children's aunt or the sister of the man I love, if you dare and drag my children into your mess again, I'm going to kill you, and not even your brother is going to do to save you." She roughly let go and stood up, and then she turned away. Brianna got back on her feet, still clutching her stomach, and then she limped forward as Sienna walked away. "I was only trying to protect my children!" She yelled. Sienna stopped in her tracks and turned around. "Protect them from what?" "Do you even have to ask? From Javier, of course!" "I don't understand why you even feel threatened, Javier would never hurt you, let alone, your children! He treasures you. I don't know what more it's going to take for you to finally realise that. He has already faked his marriage to Daniella–" "What?" Brianna asked. "Don't act so surprised, Javier can have any woman he wants, why would he go all out and tie himself to a wasted drunk?" Sienna shook her head in disappointment and left.
