14 The days go by like a slow, flowin’ river. Lazily. Quietly, wi’ hardly any ripples to disturb it. I watch Elspeth as she goes about her day… she’s quite a character. Even though she is grown up, part of her younger self presents itself. I think that is what I love about her. Makes her different. The other day she was in the kitchen cleanin’ up and makin’ things as spotless as can be. She’s like her mother in many ways. Always cleanin’, not a speck of dirt anywhere. She was meticulous.
