10 The night dragged on. The day’s events kept playing over and over in my head. The feeling of inescapable fear hung itself once more in my stomach. It knotted and unknotted itself, and try as I may to calm myself to sleep, nothing would work. I sat up in my bed, the noise comin’ from my opened window didna help either. Too noisy.
