Sidney Grimm had been sleeping in the hotel room when the demon of witchcraft left her body. It attended Silvie’s fertility ceremony on the East Coast while its host and servant was resting. The witchcraft had not been on earth when Ishtar had contacted humankind for the first time, looking for a host body. It wanted to learn from that ancient demon because the fertility had lived in many human hosts.
