“Don’t ask me! Can we continue?” Keith ventured to lean forward to the glass barrier for now and immersed himself in the world below—supposedly only visible to him. He noticed that the pictures were full of life; people moved behind the windows and inside the buildings, and they lit candles as night descended on the city. Horses pulled carriages, servants jumped off and rolled barrels down on thick boards into the backyards of the inns. “I know you would prefer to spend the rest of the day here, but we have to continue our long journey. Would you mind?” Ingoldson interrupted Keith. Keith looked at him, still mesmerized. Then he turned back to the ghost world below. Because what else could this be but an unearthly reality. This is a realistic inner reality, he felt it. My own reality
