THE UNEXPECTED

Evie Pov

Three f*****g Days I feel something changing in my body. First was a slightly backpain that I didn't put too much attention of it 'coz I thought it was nothing. But when second days arrive the pain is getting more intense, and i cannot sleep anymore. I don't want to tell it to my family coz i know they get worried about me, especially they busy packing our things to go back in our hometown where our kind really belong.

I was stopped in my thoughts when I hear a loud knock and a angry beast yelling outside my door.

" Evie!!!Open it or else i will kick your guddamn door!!! ." big brother shout outside.

I hurriedly stand in my bed still in pained, and worse i feel it in my whole body already. What the heck wrong with me. But i must need to open the door before my big bro wreck it.

As I open the door another screaming is out of my big brothers mouth. But in different tune as if he saw a ghost.

"Whaaa!!!! W-What the heck lazy pig! you scarred me" he screamed and jump backward holding his chest.

Looking in my brother expressions when his scarred is worth it and rare. Imagine the next Beta of Light Moon Pack have weakness like this.

" I should be the one scarred here you know.. early in the morning you keep banging my door as if a life and death situation happen, Scary Cat." I told here to him blankly and called him by his pet name.

" Do you look yourself already in the mirror lazy pig? you look like a voodoo doll in the horror movie's , it's that your new style it's kind of creepy, I don't like it."

"Tsk whatever.." i response to him then turn around to go back in bed. I know he will follow me inside. Me on the other hand pretend that i didn't feel anything pained right now.

" I just want you to know that later we go travelled back to our hometown so you need to prepare your things already, and of course you need to go down right now to eat breakfast with us you lazy pig." he said commanding me.

" Why i need to go down Scary Cat, Mom always bring me food here in my room." I answered him while lazily lie down again in my bed.

" Coz we have a visitor right now and i think he is hungry already coz your too lazy to get up in your bed." he said while giving me a serious face while his both arm crossed in front of his chest.

" Visitor?" I asked innocent to him coz I don't remember we accept visitors in our house.

" Yup.. so get up in bed now and stop being lazy! Five days from now you going to shift as same as ours, but you still like a baby pup need to take care everytime." he said while massaging his forehead as if he really stress seeing me like this.

I give him a big smile and hung my two hands on him, asking him to pull me, so i be able to stand again.

As on que he grabbed my hand and slowly pull me,but not in a halfway i grunt because i felt the pain. My brother see my sudden pain in my face and hurriedly sit beside me worrying visible in his eyes.

" Hey Evie! Are you okie? What's wrong?."

" It's nothing, i'm fine.." I said covering the pain in my face but my brother look at me intently, knowing him he know if I'm lying or not.

" You can't fooled me.. I know if something bothers you or not, spill it or else i call mom and dad downstair."

I signed in defeat and tell him the truth.

" Why you didn't tell us? I thought your just lazy.. Do you take medicine to ease atleast the pain?"

" Yea.. That's why I don't want to tell, you all keep worrying for nothing if i told to."

" Haiisst.. you're really stubborn as always, I'm waiting you outside.. let's go down together." he said while giving me a brotherly soft peak of kiss in my head before leaving my room.

I'm so lucky to have a brother like him and a family who really give me so much love even i am different.

Why i said that I'm different?..

Coz in our pack I am the only one who have a big birthmark surrounding my eyes, as if i wearing a mask in my face while the other are blessed with beautiful appearances. I slightly conscious about it before but my family and friends give me confidence and support to love myself coz to them i am beautiful as they are.

ACE POV

I'm having a conversation with Mr. and Mrs. Lionheart in the dining table while waiting to Drake to comeback fetching her younger sister EVIE in here room.

When suddenly I smell something in the air that give me chill and calm in my nerves. A sweet scents of almond butter and berries. First I thought Mrs. Lionheart just cooking something in the kitchen, but when Drake appeared with her sister, a got slightly shocked coz the scent i smell are coming from her, and when our eyes meet, my wolf inside jumping in joy and said the word i didn't even to expect I will be able to say to her , the word "Mate".
