Part two
"Congratulations to you cousin, happy for you
She approached her and put her hand on her back, while drawing that malicious smile
"Look at yourself, you are the most beautiful bride I have ever seen."
She closed her eyes, preventing her hand from slapping her at the last moment
" You broke the record for the weirdest wedding."
The other ignored her, and looked at her reflection in the mirror. A gorgeous dress was on her, waves of soft fabric stretching behind her.
Platinum embroidery sparkles in the sunshine, and the empire waist is accentuated by a white satin ribbon.
One of the beauticians approached, and she puts the head cover behind her, while she says with a smile
"The top and neckline give you a nice sparkle."
A maid came forward, putting some make-up on her cheek
" Your husband will surely lose his mind."
Her cousin put her hand to her mouth, suppressing her smile, saying
"Does he have brains to lose it ?"
The maids looked at her in astonishment, as did the bride, what about these sarcastic comments
"Don't be sad, dear Lena, you two really suit each other."
Her cousin, Diana, took the box that she brought a few minutes ago, and took out a necklace of diamonds and pearls, surrounded by knotted white gold threads.
"Dad said it was a gift from your father-in-law, enjoy it."
She said while throwing it at her angrily, so how can a despicable person like her, who came from the countryside, take such an expensive necklace
Minutes later, Rocco entered, looking at her with a wide smile
"It's time, the guests have arrived."
Her stomach twisted from nervousness, and she looked at him with great anger, although he forced her, but he was acting like the good uncle.
" Remember Lina, you are doing this for the family."
She said coldly, looking into his eyes that looked at her angrily
"You're wrong, I'm doing this for my mom."
He Ignored her words, then approaches her, placing his arm on hers
"Never mind, remember what I told you, be obedient to your husband, and don't forget to pass on the information to Mr. Lucas."
She approached him, clasping her arms around his
"Remember what you promised me, my mother must not lack any treatment."
"Don't worry, I promise, now smile, we'll go out to guests."
She quietly walked beside him, she looked into the garden, she could hear the voices of the guests gathered awaiting her arrival.
There was a path of red rose petals, starting from the balcony where she was standing, heading towards the entrance of the tent
He led her with slow steps towards the entrance, while the layers of tapestry, she was dragged behind her on the long corridor, hundreds of guests on both sides.
She looked at the end of the corridor, where her husband was supposed to be labeled, but there was nobody there
"Didn't you say that whoever I'm going to marry will come today?"
He felt the heat rising all over his body, and he looked at her beside his eyes nervously
"He's just a little busy."
She smiled sarcastically, looking at where her invited husband should be
" Busy on his wedding day."
This was the worst lie she've ever heard, what's with all this mystery surrounding her future husband, isn't he supposed to meet her even once?
After all, this was not her place, yet she had no choice, her mother's life was at risk
She stood in front of the churchman alone, and she could hear the whispers of those standing behind her
"What a strange wedding?"
"Can you believe this, it's the first time I've seen a marriage without a groom?"
"He obviously doesn't want her."
"There is no doubt that she is carrying an illegitimate child, and therefore the groom did not come to the wedding."
She Swallowed all those insults, she closed her eyes and looked at the monk, who started to recite the rites.
She did everything, she wore her wedding ring, she signed the wedding contract, and she took blessings from the priest.
Then she turned towards the guests, who were looking at her sarcastically, when a man in his fifties approached her.
" Your husband is waiting for you."
He said while holding her hand, heading towards the car, which will take her to where her husband is.
"I hope you will not forget our agreement."
She looked at him very coldly, for here he is another side of hell, which she's now living through
"I have not forgotten the agreement, Mr. Lucas, and I hope you will not forget your promise either, and take care of my mother."
Then she looked towards her Uncle Rocco, and his family as she continued
"I don't trust him, and I agreed to your condition in exchange for my mother's protection."
He gave her a soft smile, before putting her in the car and heading back to the party
She sighed boredly, as she looked at the flowers that were in her hands, to put them on the chair next to her and stray on the way
It all started about a month ago, as her mother had a heart attack and the doctors said that her heart is weak , and she had to do a Heart bypass surgery and urgent
Since she was living in a rural village, she did not know anyone who could help her, except her uncle Rocco the millionaire
But in exchange for the money, which he will provide for her mother's treatment, he asked her to replace his daughter Diana, and marry the son of the American mafia leader.
And that was the deal, he saves her mother, and she takes the place of his daughter, and marries that man she didn't even see at their wedding.
She removed all these thoughts from her mind, and closed her eyes, seeking a little rest, which she had not tasted during the past days.
After an unknown amount of time, she felt someone shaking her shoulder, slowly opening her eyes, and looking at the person who was standing in front of him.
"We have arrived, madam."
She swallowed her saliva, and looked at the black castle, trying to control her fear, as she got out of the car
"Won't you come in with me?"
she said worriedly, looking at the driver, whose face had faded from color
"What me ? No, I'm only responsible for getting you here."
He said quickly, as he left the place, as if he was running away from something
She swallowed her saliva and kept looking at the castle in front of her. It was in the middle of a large forest. She hesitated to enter.
But the sound of the wolves made her tremble and move forward, after controlling her nerves, and finally decided to enter.
She looked at the untidy garden, at the broken trees, feeling as if she was in a vampire's castle
She went to the door, and knocked on it several times, but to no avail, but she didn't receive an answer, after much hesitation finally decided to enter
"Excuse me, is anyone here?"
She said as she walked down the long hallway, where it was dark, and she didn't see anything around her
She tried to take her breath and control her nerves, but to no avail, as she was trembling with horror, as she looked around her.
For God's sake, how is it possible that there are people living here, the place is literally shattered and terrifying
She felt a breath on her neck, forcing her to freeze in place, before turning around very slowly as her eyes widened.
Sharp gray eyes, they create terror in the souls, a look full of mystery, that makes you uncomfortable looking at him
"aaah"
She screamed in horror, and ran back, until she almost fell, but she held on at the last moment
She looked at the person, who was standing in front of her, but she couldn't make out his features
"Me .... you...."
Words had left her throat, she tried to control herself, pressing her dress hard
"Who are you?"
He blinked his eyes very quietly, as he looked at her with those same terrifying childish looks
" Me.... I'm the monster of this castle."
