A loud knocking on the door woke me up. Nick had his arms around me, holding tight. The knocking continued as I smacked his arm to get him to wake up. With a low growl, his head popped up, and he looked at the door. "What fresh hell is this?" He mumbled and got out of bed, and walked towards the door. He was wearing just his silk boxers as he opened the door.
"Sorry to disturb you, your highness," I heard Vera say to him. "Lord Henry sent me to get you two up and ready for the day."
