         Nick’s POV My whole life flashed before my eyes over and over. Everything I ever saw, even from when I was a toddler, seeing the first hints of my father slipping into insanity. I remember my wolf saying goodbye to his wolf. To all the time growing up with my siblings and to the day I met the woman who would change everything. I watched my daughter being born and standing at the altar marrying Calliope. It was like a DVD stuck on repeat. Then the pain became a factor, and I finally opened my eyes. I was in what looked like an underground cell. I was lying on a dirty metal cot, and water was dripping somewhere. I could smell the rot and mold of wherever I was.
