Evan's erection stayed with him for almost an hour before his c**k finally became lax. By then, he was already at home, in the luxurious tenth floor condo he'd been living in alone for the past four years. His erection would have died down earlier if not for the memories of Lila and Harper's torture occupying his mind on the elevator ride up. It took him a few minutes after walking into his house before he could finally rid himself of his discomfort in his pants. Taking off his shirt, he tossed it on the long, leather sofa in the living room. All he had on was his singlet as he headed to the small bar in one corner of the living room.
Retrieving a glass from a nearby shelf, he grabbed a bottle of whiskey from the bar and poured himself a shot. He downed it immediately, then he poured himself another. Unsatisfied, he grabbed the bottle alone and made his way across the large, tastefully furnished living room. He stood in front of the floor to ceiling windows that served as protection from the outside world.
Down below, the city stretched out for miles into the distance. From his floor, he had a good view of all the buildings and roads around. Bright lights in different colors were everywhere, highlighting the beauty of the city.
What had happened in the elevator at the company was the only thing on his mind, eclipsing every other thought. He’d never really paid attention to Harper and Lila, never even given them a second thought. He knew they were beautiful, of course, but workplace romance was not just his thing. Or romance at all. He was a workaholic who’d never been able to hold down a relationship for anything more than a month.
After three failed ones, he eventually gave up trying. He stood in front of the windows for several minutes, the memories of the elevator playing in his mind repeatedly. He could vividly remember the way Harper's mouth had felt on his c**k, the way Lila had been juggling his balls with all the care in the world.
He felt an ache in his loins as the memories kept on playing and he took a long drink from the bottle in an attempt to drown the thoughts away. By the time the bottle was empty, he was far from forgetting that night's incident.
It was all he could think of till he fell asleep. The next day, he didn't go to work, having given everyone a holiday, except those that could work from home. It wasn't until the following Monday, two days later, that he stepped foot in the company. As the elevator doors opened, his heart skipped a beat. The only occupants were two women and he almost let out a relieved sigh when he saw that they weren't Harper and Lila.
When he got to the top floor where his office was, the first person he saw was Lila. She was walking alongside another young employee, Matthew.
“Good morning, boss,” Marcus said, giving Evan a friendly smile.
“Good morning, boss,” Lila echoed. Her lipstick covered lips curved into a seductive smile and she winked at Evan.
A quick memory of her giving him that same smile while his c**k was in his hands flashed through his mind.
“Good…good morning, guys,” Evan stuttered, trying to ignore Lila’s gaze. Down below, his c**k was already beginning to react.
A curious look appeared in Matthew's face as he seemed to notice Evan's discomfort. Stopping, he turned to stare after him as he hurried down the corridor.
“Am I the only one or is something wrong with our boss?” Marcus asked. “Why does he look so flustered?”
“I don't know. He looks perfectly okay to me,” Lila answered without turning.
Shrugging it off, Matthews continued on his way. He didn't notice Lila stealing a glance in the direction their boss had gone. A small smile played onto Lila's lips as an idea popped into her head.
When Evan got to his office, Caroline, his secretary, was waiting for him.
“Good morning, boss,” she said, rising from her seat as he approached the door.
Evan gave her a warm smile which she returned. “Morning, Carol. Do you have any messages for me?”
“Uh, no, sir. But I have your schedule already,” she answered, her heels clicking against the tiled floor as she came out from behind her work station. Taking long strides, she hurried over to him as he was entering the office.
Evan shut the door behind them. “What's for today? Apart from the meeting with Councilman Ward.”
Carol's eyes went to the tablet in her hand and she scrolled a few times. Looking up in Evan’s direction, she said, “You’re supposed to be a guest speaker at the monthly chamber of commerce luncheon happening this afternoon. After that, you have a meeting with the legal team regarding the allegations made by the people of the Leamington community. Three o'clock. Then Mr. Harvey from the bank wants two of you to review your terms of investment. He requested to have it moved to six p.m, instead of four-thirty.”
Even let out a soft sigh when she was done. He was already seated behind his desk, sorting through the folders in front of him. “I think I might have to cancel one of those meetings. I don't know which one yet. When I do, I'll let you know. Thank you, Carol.” His lips curved into an appreciative smile.
The smile was infectious, making her smile back at him. “You’re welcome, sir. Is there anything you need?”
“Not at all,” Evan answered. The door closing gently a few seconds later announced Carol's exit. Evan buried himself with work immediately, stopping only when he heard a knock on his door over thirty minutes later.
“Come in,” he called out, his eyes still glued to the papers spread on his desk.
Slowly, the door opened and closed. Hearing slowly approaching footsteps, he finally looked up. The person standing before him was Harper and the look on her face sent his heart racing.
