Josh drove past Matt’s Blue Ford Escape, and pulled into the driveway behind Sheri’s new Infinity. He rolled his eyes at the car. She takes a job for less money, then wants a new car. But he’d caved, like he did anytime it involved anything that would make her smile and get off his back.
Josh got out of the car, and shivered as the wind gusted. It was cold for October, and he recalled reading it was supposed to be a long, cold winter.
