Josh sat back and listened to Bad Kitty’s disturbing singing echo through the silent room. Parker was shaking his head, and Parsons and Reynolds were looking nervously at each other. Next to him, Matt had his head c****d and his eyes shut. Probably doing what Josh had been doing since last night…trying to envision the owner of these voices.
He looked down to where Norris and Walters were leaning forward, listening closely. This was the second run through the tape, as Norris had requested it be played again. Walters couldn’t hit Play fast enough. They both wore excited expressions he found annoying.
