22When Harrison Hill wanted something or somebody, he moved with decisive speed. Before Kate arrived at her office Monday morning Harry’s lawyer had already called her boss, Ralph Parsons, and informed him Harrison Hill had called from Dallas with instructions to purchase the Olsen house for four and a half million. “If you can get the paperwork here this afternoon, Mr. Parsons, I can be there tomorrow at ten a.m., assuming Ms. Hadley is available.”
“We won’t need her on the legal stuff, Mr. Larson.”
“I’m sorry, Mr. Parsons, but Mr. Hill made a point of insisting she be involved. Further, he stipulated she be in charge of the remaining tasks to prepare the place for handover.”
“Did Kate suggest this, Mr. Larson?”
“If you mean Ms. Hadley, no. She knows nothing of Mr. Hill’s demands. He
