34The next week Harry officially took occupancy. The work on the house was still unfinished, but the master bedroom was done, the basement exercise rooms and spa were ready for use, and on the main level only the task of fitting out Harry’s new study remained.
He planned to spend perhaps half of his nights at the house “in the country,” making it easier to be with Kate. It was still a minor hassle, since Sasha didn’t have her own car. But she had her driver’s license, so that night Harry picked up Kate at the apartment, meaning Sasha could have the car for the weekend. That act alone made Sasha Harry’s friend for life.
