Tulika was thinking what to do should she go inside or not after whatever she heard she opted to not go inside.
She asked a servant to give her the milk and left..
On the other side Mrs. Chowdhury is sitting on the bed. The words his son throws at her face is still ringing in her ears.
She can feel the effect of those words. She didn't touch the milk that the servant left for her.
She only chuckled bitterly thinking about everything.
Sleep was far from her eyes.. So was from tulika and Aniket's.
They three could not sleep because of the same reason.
Tulika was rethinking her marriage decision; she wouldn't marry Aniket if Mrs. Chowdhury opposed that for sure. She won't be happy if she hurts a mother and gets married to her son.
