“Don’t you think we are making mistakes?” Rebecca's voice was urgent as she hurriedly walked the hallway of the institute, her heels making a series of clicking sounds. “Why don’t we silence her once and for all? She already knows everything?”
The man who was walking at her front abruptly stopped, making Rebecca collide with his back, almost breaking her just-fixed nose.
“Ouch,” she yelped in pain, but the man didn’t seem to notice her distress.
“What did you just say?” The man's voice was husky with anger, his gaze sharp. “You want to silence a kid, just because she heard all the nonsense you spouted at her mother’s grave earlier? You are a callous human being Rebecca.” The man shouted, his voice thunderous. “Don’t forget she is my daughter too.” He roared.
