“What do you mean, no?” I screamed.
“Why are you even asking that?!” He shouted back.
I know I love Leonardo but he’s just getting into my nerves lately! I screamed even louder, he flinched as he tries to cover his ears. I just wanted to lift the table and he wouldn’t let me!
“You’re doctor told us not to do that, right?” he’s still annoyed, but he’s cute. I giggled. I saw his eyes rolled but the smile kept on showing.
“Mood swings.” he whispered. He walked towards me and caressed my belly. “I really hope baby Eloise won’t get your temper.” he said teasingly, but I secretly hope that too.
“She will be as beautiful as me though.” I proudly s***h teasingly said.
“She surely will.” But I like how he took it seriously. He caressed my hair and kissed my lips.
“Our anniversary is around the corner.” I whispered between the kisses.
“We’ve been together since the 90’s, so we’re together for...” he looked up tried to compute the years “30 years now.”
I hit him lightly on the chest “Stop it! We were only together one year in the 90s and three in here. Years in between doesn’t count!”
He gave me a sad face. “But did we break up?”
“But you were engaged a lot of times! So does it mean you cheated on me?”
He smiled back, he knows it’s touché.
“Stop teasing me and go back to work!”
Our marriage life isn’t perfect but it is satisfying, seeing Eloise grow to a beautiful and kind hearted kid just like her father made me more than happy that sometimes I question myself what did I do to deserve all this.
“You’re so compassionate, Gaze. You deserve all the love in the world.” is what Leonardo will always say.
He kissed my forehead. “Not sleepy yet? What are you thinking?”
I hugged him, my favorite thing to do “Thank you for loving me.”
“You should never thank me, Gaze.” he held my hands and placed it on his heart. “You feel the beat? I stay alive because of you and Eloise. So I thank you instead.”
“I love you.” I whispered and he responded with a kiss.
