Larissa's POV
I blinked. The last person I expected to be certain of my innocence was the sister of the woman I had allegedly murdered. “What?”
“I know that you didn’t kill Lara.” Stephanie clarified. “Did you think I would have let you in here if I thought you murdered my sister?” She said, her voice dry.
“Thank you.”
She furrowed her brows. “Why? I didn’t do anything?”
“Yeah but… Since the beginning of this murder thing, I’ve had to constantly defend myself from family, friends, and strangers about how I’m not a murderer.” I explained. “So it means a lot that you don’t think that way of me.”
For the first time, Stephanie’s expression softened. “I believe you. You’re not a murderer, Larissa.”
