Brayden's POV When Larissa had said she wasn’t going to fight me every step of the way, she had lied to my face. In the two days that had passed between our discussion and the preparation for the wedding, she had walked around like someone being carried off to the gallows rather than someone about to enter a mutually beneficial deal. A part of me couldn’t blame her – she had only recently just ended a relationship with one Patterson brother and was about to jump headfirst into a marriage with another one.
