The next morning, Alice woke up with a light headache. She wanted to get up but then felt some pains in her lower body. Her head cleared immediately, and she remembered what happened. She looked beside her and saw a man lying there. He smiled at her. "Good morning, beautiful one." He greeted. "What happened yesterday night?" She asked. "You already knew, so why bother to ask." He answered nonchalantly. She didn't even bother talking to him. She tried to stand; she felt sore around her body because it was her first time. With her vague memory, she could recall something's that happened last night. "I couldn't even tell at the bar that you are still a virgin." She didn't say a word to reply him. She stood up and grabbed a towel. She looked at her clothes that are now more than rags and looked at the man incredulously. The man was ashamed, but he tried to maintain a straight face. "Go ahead and take your bath; I will order for some clothes now." He said to her. She only nodded before rushing to the washroom. Inside the bathroom, she filled the bathtub with warm water before slowly sinking in. The warm water filled her body, caressing her. She felt like staying there for a while. Minutes later, after she was done, she came out of the washroom to see that the man was gone. There were clothes on the bed. She was grateful that he remembered to order for clothes. She changed immediately; there was a business card on the bed. Picked it, "Williams O'Connor, CEO of Williams groups." "Wow, he is a billionaire," she muttered. Williams group is one of the largest businesses in the country. They're involved in lots of businesses, including the entertainment industry. They are worth hundreds of billions. The CEO is even more mysterious. He has lots of connections and comes from a very powerful family. She had just had a one-night stand with such a powerful man. She grabbed her handbag and rushed downstairs. After she left the hotel, she ordered a cab to take her home at first but later decided against it. She made the cab take her to Westview entertainment industry. She was supposed to be there today to know if she had won the audition. After a few minutes, they arrived in front of Westview. She paid the cab man and hurried to Westview. She met a potbellied man before she could walk further. "Mrs. Alice, you are here, I was actually about to ask of you. Come on, you have won the audition but..." Her heart tightened when she heard it. "Our music industry isn't doing too good now, and we already have many artists to handle, so we can't handle more." He said. "But my song is very good, and besides why did you host the audition if you are not accepting any artists." She argued. "Of course, what you said is true; I haven't finished yet. We have provided opportunities for you to work in the movie industry as an actress, what do you say." The man said with a smile. "It's great, I can build a fan base and become an artist later; it doesn't matter if I am not one now. Anyway, I think it will make things easier for me." She said happily. Even though she wasn't going to the music industry as she hoped. The movie industry is not bad either. She's very confident in her acting skills; all she needs to do is build a fan base so when she starts singing later, she wouldn't start from scratch. "You are very ambitious, Miss Alice," the pot-bellied man commented. "Thank you, Director Frank," I replied. "But am sorry to disappoint you Alice. We want you to also be a songwriter for our company, and also your song 'Over the Moon' should be given to our artist Melissa. We will offer you a contract with the sum of one million dollars and a house if you agree." Director Frank said. It was like a bucket of cold water was poured on her body, dousing her fantasy. "What did you say?" She asked in shock. The director smiled wryly. "Am sure you heard me well." The director shrugged. "It's a decision from the company's senior authorities, if it's okay with you, I will arrange a manager for you now." "No, am sorry but I can't give my song to other people, and I won't write songs for anybody else aside from myself." I said stubbornly. The manager patted me, "Alice, the waters of the entertainment industry are too deep; if you want to succeed, you have to find a supporter, and I will give you an opportunity for one, he is the only person that could easily make you a famous superstar if you agree." The director said. "Who is he, Director? If he can help me, I could do anything." I promised. "He is the second-highest shareholder and investor of our Westview entertainment. Mr. Albert. His authority is unquestionable. If he wants you to be an artist, no one else can object. So if you are ready, let me introduce him to you." He explained. "Ok, introduce him please, Director Frank." I nodded. "Ok, give me a minute let me converse with him." The director said and went to make a call. Soon he returned. "You are in luck today, girl. Mr. Albert is free and wants you to meet him at Royal Oak Hotel at 6:00 pm this evening. Girl, you are lucky; you have to thank me later," the director said happily. I nodded and thanked him before leaving. Outside the building, I saw a girl standing in front of me; she was wearing a very low gown and huge glasses. Her light skin looked like it had been bleached a little. Surprisingly, she walked up to me, as if she knew me. "You must be the girl that won the audition, Alice, right?" She asked. I nodded. "Good, let me tell you, as long as I remain in this industry, you will never be an artist. The most you can achieve is being a songwriter, and you will write my songs for me," she said. "Do I know you before? Why will you be targeting me?" I asked in confusion. "You are beautiful; I hate people that are more beautiful than me, and I find you as an eyesore. Do you have a problem with that? Let me tell you, my father is the owner of this entertainment in dustry, and my boyfriend is the second-highest shareholder, Mr. Albert."
