Early morning on the next day, Alice was already up and getting ready for the meeting. She was also nervous; after all, she couldn't just pretend that nothing had happened. She went outside and flagged down a cab. "Take me to Diamond Five Star Hotel," she directed. The cab driver nodded and drove her off. After a few minutes, the car pulled up in front of the hotel, and she paid the bill before alighting. The hotel was a high-class one and looked magnificent. It was well-cleaned and had a nature-friendly environment. The interior wasn't bad either and looked even more beautiful. She brought out her phone and called Williams. After a few rings, it connected. "Hello, Mr. Williams, I'm inside the hotel right now. Where are you?" she asked. "Meet me at private dining room 044," he replied. She stopped a staff in the hotel, and he showed her to the private dining room. Williams was sitting there quietly. As usual, he looked very detached from the world, with his hands crossed on the table. "You changed your mind earlier than expected," he said. "I have no choice," she replied. Williams frowned when he heard her. "Are you sure you want to do this? I don't want it to look like I was forcing you," he asked. "Yes, I'm very sure of this," she replied firmly. He nodded and handed her a document on the table. "Here's the contract. Check it and see if there's anything you disagree with," he said. She nodded, took the contract carefully, and studied it. The contract stated that the two must live in the same house but will not have much interaction and can still have their private lives. In public, they must appear very intimate. There are other conditions, but they can all be neglected. Overall, the contract was good. "It's good; I will sign now," she said and signed the contract before handing it over. He also signed his name. "Now it's time for me to fulfill the terms. Give me your account number." She stood straight when she heard that and immediately provided her account details. Soon, she received a credit alert of one million dollars. She felt so emotional. At last, she can save her mother. "I had received the alert; thank you," she said sincerely. "You don't need to thank me. After all, you are my woman. Just go ahead and save your mother. You can call me two days later," he replied. "Wait, how did you..." She pointed at him but stopped halfway. It seems like she was the one who told him. And also, what's the crap about her being his woman? Anyway, he is her benefactor, so it will be better if she just ignores him. "Thank you very much. I will call you two days from now, I promise," she promised him. "Alright, do remember your promise. I have to show you to my parents after all, so be mentally prepared," he reminded. "Yes, I will," she said before grabbing her handbag and leaving the dining room. Williams was still sitting there by himself with a smile. Perhaps it's time to go home. He stood up and left the room. Outside the hotel, two men in black suits came to greet him. "Are you leaving, boss?" "Yes, get the car here," he replied. Soon, a Mercedes Benz G class pulled up in front of him. One of the men opened the door for him respectfully. He sat in the back seat of the car comfortably before turning to the driver. "Drive me to the family house," he ordered. The driver looked at him in surprise. The boss had not gone to the family house for a long time. He seems to be dodging his parents. But now he wants to visit the family house all of a sudden. But he knew best not to ask questions. He drove the car down the road. Twenty minutes later, they arrived at the family house. The car pulled up in front of the huge mansion, the door opened, and he alighted. The car drove off to park properly at the garage. The household servants all greeted him respectfully. "Where are my parents?" he asked the old butler. "They are in the garden," he replied respectfully. He headed to the garden in the back of the huge building, where he saw his parents having an outdoor breakfast. "Old man, you are still here; aren't you going to work?" he teased. Mr. O'Connor and his wife were surprised when they saw him. "You brat, I thought you were running away from your parents. Why did you come now? Do you want us to find a beautiful, well-behaved girl for you? I have many recommendations; my friends have been nagging me to introduce their daughters to you," Mr. O'Connor ranted shamelessly. "Dad, please be well-behaved; you are embarrassing me." Mrs. O'Connor came forward and hugged him. "Williams, you know your dad is right. It will be better if we choose a wife for you. So we can find a well-behaved girl that will respect us and also respect you," she said. "Mom, and the one that's marrying, not you. How can you choose my wife for me? What if I don't like her?" he replied. "What if we don't like the one you choose?" she retorted. "I am not marrying for you, mom. So far she is good to me, it doesn't matter," he stated. Mr. O'Connor had to intervene. "Hey, Beatrice, he had said it all. He is the one marrying, not you. Don't try to scare my son away, now that he seems finally serious for marriage." "But..." Mrs. O'Connor wanted to argue, but her husband didn't give her a chance. He turned to Williams with a sly smile. "So Williams, have you found a wife already, or should we start looking for you? You know you can't pick from those dirty mistresses of yours," he said. "I am married," he replied. Mr. and Mrs. O'Connor: "What!"
