Allie. It didn’t matter how long or how fast I ran; I couldn’t shake the nagging feeling. Mikayla’s words still echoed in my thoughts. Was I dangerous to others? Is that why sirens were hunted to near extinction? I shifted back to human and found my clothes that I had left hanging over a tree branch. I was still unsettled.
