I take a deep breath as I step into Jessica’s office. It’s been a while since I’ve seen her, and I’m grateful for the appointment. I’ve had a lot on my mind lately, and I need someone to talk to. She knows the right things to say and I’m just happy that o have her around after everything that has happened.
Jessica greets me with a warm smile, and I sit down on the couch across from her. I take a moment to gather my thoughts before I begin.
“So, how has your week been, Jasmine?” Jessica asks.
I take another deep breath before answering. “It’s been…tough. It has been such a long week. I don’t even know where to begin. Things have just kept happening but I’m trying to hold to things getting better soon,” I say, hesitantly.
