Draven's POV
The car ride home was suffocatingly quiet, the tension was thick in the air. Thoughts of Jasmine's phone call with Hale bit on my mind, making me feel like I had lost a lot of my trust in her. Why did she feel the need to reach out to him? Did she still hold lingering feelings for him? It’s driving me insane.
These questions consumed me because she could have just come to me but I know that she feels like she can’t because of the responses I have been giving her when it comes to Draven.
The drive home felt longer than usual I didn’t even know how I was going to bring it up or act like everything was normal.
I open the door with anticipation and I’m welcomed by Jasmine laying on the couch. I already knew what was coming my way.
