Chapter 8Henry paused at the bottom of the stairs, hand braced on the wall for just a bit of support, and glanced back over his shoulder, still grinning. He’d left Theo sitting in his bed and, he thought, grinning as well. He tried to ignore the way that made him feel. That smidgen of pride at the knowledge that he still possessed enough charm, even in its smallest amount, to make someone grin. It’d been quite some time since he’d wanted to make someone smile.
