I awaken to grandpa slamming my bedroom door open. “What’s this I hear about Alex shifting in broad daylight?!?” He practically roars. I reach to turn on my lamp but end up smacking Alex in the face instead, making him yelp. “No one saw,” I mumble, still half asleep. The lamp clicks on and I think Alex must have found the switch. “That’s not what I care about.
