I climbed out of the cab, my eyes scanning the area as Easton's gaze and mine met for a brief moment and he took them off. I sighed, my heart sinking.
That's when I saw them, Easton and Lena, driving away together. I wonder what Easton had on his mind? I felt a pang of confusion and unease. What was going on?
Before I could process my thoughts, I heard a familiar voice shouting my name. "Hayley!" Alltwaved enthusiastically as she approached me.
I forced a smile, still reeling from the sight of Easton and Lena together. Ally hugged me tightly, and I returned the hug, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. Was she finally back to forgiving me?
