Chapter 5

JUNGKOOK

I woke up the next day feeling drained. Lisa was such a happy pill that I think I had an adrenaline rush last night. I look more hungover compared to my hyungs.

"Sh*t!" I heard a last crash from outside our room. "Ya! Who out this umbrella here?!"

"That's mine," I heard Hobi hyung answer to Namjoon. "I put that over there. I have no idea how it got here."

"It broke my glasses!"

"Ya! It's not the umbrella's fault you're such a clutz--"

BZZZZZT!

That was our doorbell. Who'd visit early this morning?!

I heard heavy footsteps scramble.

"Girls!" It was Taehyung.

"Omo! There's a brunette, red and oranged haired girls and a blonde!"

I immediately shot up. Could it be Lisa? I ran outside our room only to see Jin hyung greeting our guests.

"Omo Kookie-ya!" Lisa exclaimed. "Morning!"

"A-Annyeong..." I heard my hyungs murmur to each other.

"Yah, Kookie's talking to a girl!"

"Omo, our baby is all grown up..."

"You know him?" Lisa turned to Jin.

"Ne. I met him last night," she answered wuth a smile. "We came buy to say hi, oppa. By the way, this is Jisoo unnie," she pointed at the black haired girl. "Jennie unnie--they're sisters," she lightly patted the brown-haired girl's shoulder. "And Rosé." Her arm was linked on to the orange-haired girl with the same height as hers.

"Annyeong!" The girls politely bowed.

"Ya! What's all the racke--What the f--k are you doing here?!"

All heads turned towards the newly awaken Yoongi who was pounting at Jennie noona who ignored him and smiled sweetly at Taehyung.

"We brought a cake for us to share," she said and showed us a cute little pink box. "It would be good for neighbors to have a good relationship, ne?"

"Woah! Strawberry!" V jumped up and down in excitement.

I felt a light nudge beside me. It was Lisa. "You sure you're the maknae?"

I chuckled. "Ne. V hyung is just like that. He's older than us."

Lisa was at awe. I glanced at the girl shyly standing beside her. She had pale skin with matching long orange hair--wait a minute.

I suddenly remembered the orange-haired girl I saw dancing next door. Was it her?

"Um..." Rosé looked at me. "Do you dance?"

She nodded. "I'm from the Theater Arts Department."

So it was her. But... why can't I feel--never mind.

"Theater Arts?" Hobi hyung asked. "So you're classmates with Jimin?"

"Ani... he's a sunbae..."

Hobi's mouth formed an "O".

"So Lisa," Namjoon hyung started. "You're from what department?"

"Med Studies."

"Heol! Aren't you young to be a med student?"

"She finished her MedTech course early," Jin explained. "She's kind of a medical geniu--aw!"

Lisa glared at his oppa. We all looked at her. She dismissed everything Jin hyung said as she waved.

"Ani, ani. Oppa's lying!"

"Aigoo... our maknae is being shy all of a sudden," Jennie noona teased Lisa. She looked at me and smiled. "I heard Jeon Jungkook is the Golden Maknae, am I right?"

"Only when he loses his shyness," Hobi hyung answered. "Ya, let's play some video games!"

"Omo! I wanna play too!" Lisa raised her hand.

"Me too! Me too!" V hyung did the same as well. They looked like two kids who're very excited.

"What game should we play?" Rosé shyly asked. Her hair really does look like the dancing girl's hair the other day. Maybe if I could just see her dance, I could confirm it.

"Just Dance!" All eyes were on me now. "What?"

"Daebak. You sure about that, Kook? Just Dance and not Overwatch?"

"You play overwatch?" Jisoo asked. I nodded. Then she turned to Lisa. "Ain't that the game you're playing every night since last year?"

My eyes immediately shot towards her. Lisa nodded and gave me a thumbs up.

"Overwatch is daebak!"

"Ya," Hobi hyung cut us off. "Let's play something everyone can enjoy. I like 'Just Dance' too so we'll stick to that."

"Shall we move the coffee table for more space?" Everyone agreed. Namjoon volunteered to set up the Wii but all of us--the guys, said no. "I'll just do it."

"Ya! It's not like everything I touch breaks--"

He slipped. All girls giggled.

"Ooooooh! Shake that booty guuuurl!!!!"

I laughed my a$$ out as we watched Hobi hyung dance to 2NE1's I Am the Best. Then he grabbed me by the wrist and pulled me in to join him. Since everyone was having fun, I didn't want to be called a killjoy so I danced like a lunatic.

"Daebak! Kookie got some moves!" Lisa exclaimed. I felt my cheeks burn but maybe it was because of the dancing.

Everyone was cheering for us and was joining the fun. Namjoon hyung and Jin hyung danced Girl's Generation's Gee with Jisoo, Jimin danced Hyuna's Bubble Pop with Taehyung and Jennie danced GG's I Got A Boy with Rosé.

Rosé danced beautifully but she didn't have enough swag like the girl I saw the other day. Or was it just the song choice? Wouldn't a person's dance style be the same even though the song varies.

Aigoo. This is so confusing.

"Ya Lisa! You should dance too!" Hobi hyung said after Jennie and Rosé's dance. "We promise we won't judge your dancing. I'll join you."

But Jin hyung laughed. All boys looked at him. The girls -- except Lisa, chuckled as well.

"I wouldn't be too sure if I were you, Hobi. You haven't seen her dance yet."

"Ne," Rosé agreed then turned to Lisa.  "Challenge accepted?"

Lisa grinned. "Challenge accepted."

BTS' I Need U started to play.

"Woah!"

"Daebak!"

"Are you guys sure she's a girl?"

"Lisa got sweaaag!"

"Granpa is awaaaaake!"

I was left speechless. Her blonde hair swayed as she moves to the beat. Her moves were on point and her extensions? Wow. Hobi hyung was at awe as well and kept looking at Lisa.

"Where'd you learn to dance? Jin hyung can't."

"He took all my singing talent and I took his dancing as revenge." She had this devilish grin that was too adorable, my heart thumped.

Then the dance ended and everyone cheered for Lisa.

"Sorry hyung," V said. "Lisa won."

Hobi raised both his hands, surrendering. "I accept. I accept."

"Who's the next challenger?" She joked. Everyone pointed at me. I scratched my nape.

"Should we have a small bet on who will win?" Jisoo noona had this evil smirk on. She looked gorgeous and cute at the same time. "Losing team will treat the winning team to dinner."

"Call!" One by one, they agreed.

As expected, the girls placed their bets on Lisa. Jin hyung placed his on Her as well. V, Namjoon, Suga and Jimin were on my team. What I didn't expect was Hobi hyung.

"Lisa, my sweet baby. Win this for us! I'm craving for beef!"

"Traitor!" I blurted out.

"Wae? I lost to her so you're no match to her..."

Then Namjoon and Suga started to mumble in agreement. They placed their bets on Lisa.

"Ya!"

Lisa then took her wallet out--which was how we placed bets, and put it on my side.

"Don't worry, Kookie. I'm all in on you." She winked.

I was caught off guard.
