"Can you stop that?" Joe asked, his voice a bit whiny. "It's annoying."
That just made me want to continue.

"It helps me think," I said. "And it's good for hand-eye coordination, apparently."
To my (and the Major's) surprise, practicing juggling made me improve faster. Now I was winning two fights out of ten. It wasn't much, but it was double the rate I had achieved previously.
