7 After my parents cried out their feelings, we sat there, silent, for a while, before Jack gently took me to sleep. I didn't sleep much, turning around in bed, my thoughts galloping around. By the morning, I knew who to blame for all this mess. Grandpa. He was in his office. He silently opened the door when I knocked. I sat there, in front of him, staring accusingly. "I knew you would come," he said. "And I even know what you came for." His hand went toward the folder that was laying in front of him. I took it, silently, and stared at it, wondering what it meant.
