I miss Gabriel everyday and I'll never forget the sacrifice he made so that me and Gabi can live. Without him I would probably be dead or worse, I would end up living but my baby girl wouldn't.
I feel so guilty but every time I look down at my baby girl smiling or laughing, it reminds me of the reason he did it. He wanted me to live for Caleb and Gabi.
It turns out that Maddie has some sort of psychotic disorder that made her delusional and have all sorts of hallucinations. She's now safely locked up in a mental institution away from me and my family.
The nurse told us that we can take Gabi home today, and I'm beyond excited.
