Chapter 11: No More Distractions

he walks by kisses my forehead and heads to the front door. he comes back with a folded stack of clothes.

in the neat stack there is a black v neck shirt, a blue green button up, dark jeans, grey socks and a pair of black hiking boots.

In his other hand he held a bouquet of babies breath and small yellow orange roses.

He hands me my flowers and gives me a sweet kiss.

I take a deep sniff

It's a short walk and a pretty one. Luna falls is a medium mountain town, Big lantern like street lights. A neat trimmed park in the dead center with a gazebo platform and arena area for outdoor events.

We walk down the paved roads past a few shops that sell hardware. We reach The post office and my favorite coffee shop. I waved at the coffee shop owner as we walked by.

she is a heavier set woman and her husband runs the library across town. I show my art there for tourists to see and buy when they come through during the summertime.

As she called back with a "good afternoon,"

I blush knowing there was so much and she liked all the details. Alex tells her he looks forward to it and that it was a date. She smiled and waved us on to the pack house.

I hear people in the hall talking and laughing as the smell of roast beef and fresh baked bread wafts from the kitchen.
