"Who is he?" Martin ask calmly but his tone showed how dangerous he was.
Evelyn didn't want to answer him but she knew better than keeping quiet.
"He is my friend," Evelyn replied glaring at him angrily and his eyes diverted to haris who was kinda confused.
"Who is he?" He whispered in Evelyn's ear and Martin clench his fist angrily. He didn't like how they were so close to each other.
'Only he has the guts to be close to her,' He taught glaring at him and Haris shivers as he meet with his gaze .
His eyes were filled with hatred, anger yet a dangerous smirk formed on his lips.
"What....the...the hell are you doing here?" Evelyn stuttered, fear still visible in her eyes making the latter chuckles.
He likes it when she is scared of him, he likes it when he is in control of her because he knows he can tell what to do and she wouldn't dare disobey him.
Haris phone rang and he pick up. Evelyn stare at him as he spoke on the phone.
She didn't want him to leave, at least it is not going to be awkward. Staying alone with Martin was like a death wish to her and she really don't wanna stay with him.
"Evelyn I need to go now," He announced and her eyes widened and she quickly grab his hand softly leaving the latter in surprise while martin scoffs angrily.
"Please don't go," She pleaded and Haris laugh.
"You have a visitor I guess, so you won't feel lonely,"
He taught it was one of those when she feel alone and needs someone to stay with her but...this was not like that.
She needed someone to stand by her, she didn't wanna stay with the beast standing right now.
"Bye sweetie," He kiss her forehead and Martin groan loudly making Haris stare at him.
They both stare at each other, the other with anger and hatred, the other with pure heart and fear.
She slowly move back as Haris walk out. She tried to run up to her room but she was caught already by one of martin guards.
"Get your hands off her," she yell and the guard quickly let go of her.
"Trying to run away from me again?" He ask in a teasing tone and evelyn gulp down in fear.
He sat down gently on the couch, his legs crossed like a boss.
"I am not working for you, if you came here because of that," Evelyn said and he tilted his head to the side staring at her with a weird smile.
"Your mother is at the hospital right now, do you really think she Is really going to be happy with you when she finds out you have the chanced to save her," He said and evelyn eyes widened, not because of what he said but because of the fact he knows about her mother and she knows he is going to use that to his own advantage.
"Don't you dare bring my mother into This," She yells and that seem to surprised the man sitting at the couch.
While they were dating she has never for onced raised her voice at her and seeing it right now he just can't keep smirking.
"You have grown more bold than I taught evelyn," He said in a teasing tone and the young woman just stare at him.
"The doctor gave you one month to provide money for the medication and it already 3 weeks but....if you agree to work for me I will give you the money for your mother medication before paying you your salary," He said and evelyn eyes widened.
She look at him, trying to see if he was sincere.
"Call me if you are interested and I give you now till 3pm to think," He said, no it sounded more like a command.
Evelyn look at the wall clock and she scoffs turning to look at him.
It was just 2pm already.
Not like he was going to let her be if she didn't accept but he was just trying to threaten her.
"Is just 2pm," She shouted.
"Well you can just make your decision right now," Martin said and she sigh before sitting down on the couch.
Working with Martin was a dangerous game and she really didn't want to be the victim. Having martin as her boss was something to be scared of but her mother life was more important.
She knows him too well to be a playboy which was something to be scared of.
Her pureness, beautiful face, her sexy body, was something driving him crazy and he wanted to have her all to himself.
"Am going," He said and stood up.
"Wait," Her tiny voice called out and all he could do was smirk before turning to look at her.
"Fine,I agree to be your secre..... secretary," She finally agreed making the man smile widely.
A smile that shows how happy he was to have her working for him.
"You made a good decision Eve," He move close to her and she quickly move back not wanting to be close to him and Martin just roll his eyes before moving away from her.
"Come early tomorrow or else you will get punished," He winks at her making her gulp down and then he walk out of the house while his guards follow behind.
Evelyn sigh before sitting down on the bed staring into space.
"I hope I made the right decision," She said to herself.

"What the hell is wrong with you, he was just trying to be friendly with me," Evelyn yells and martin grab hold of her neck.
"Don't you ever raised your voice at me again. I only have the guts to speak with you not some random boys," He said angrily and let go of hee neck while she cough violently on the floor...

She open her eyes slowly meeting with the dark ceeling and she sigh in relief placing her hand on her chest.
It was all a dream or it was a truama for her.
Her alarm ringing tone made her stood up from the bed hurriedly as she remember she is going to be starting a new job today. She sigh when she remembers who is going to be her boss.
