Russel was pleased with what I did, and he let me know how delighted he was when we returned to his room. He had the guards get a new bed for me, so I don't have to sleep on the couch, something I'm grateful for.
I stretched my taut muscles, yawning a bit when I woke up to sounds coming from the window.
“Morning,” Russel said behind me, startling the daylight out of me.
I turned towards him with a small smile on my face, “beautiful morning, huh?”
