Lucian wakes up early the next morning while Lily remains fast asleep. After preparing a hearty breakfast, he heads back to the bedroom to find her still nestled under the covers, lost in a deep sleep.
He approaches his side of the bed and can’t help but smile at the sight of her peaceful expression. However, his contentment is short-lived as Lily’s phone starts ringing incessantly, causing him to frown in irritation.
