Chapter Seven

Taehyung ran his fingers through his hair before he continuously tap his feet on the ground, he's restless to say the least.

He was just sitting on his swivel chair inside his office, he is a district manager of a famous clothing brand that is actually owned by his friend Hoseok.

"Yow, Tae!"

His friend Hoseok then made his way inside wearing the brightest smile that he could ever give that just made Taehyung raised his brow.

Hoseok is such a bright person, he's very optimistic. That's why a lot of people believes that the reason of his success was his attitude, his ever positive outlook in life attracts positive energy.

Taehyung is just the same, atleast before.

He is handsome, that's not even questionable. He is the most hottest, handsome and smartest student back in highschool even in their college days but even with such qualities, he is still bright always smiling, laughing and pulling pranks on his bestfriend.

The cheating issue of Seokjin really did a quick twist and turn in his life making him a different person.

"I saw Seokjin last week with Jana." Hoseok said, "She's growing up too fast." He smiled.

Hoseok then clears his throat, scratching the back of his head, he protruded his lips trying to read Taehyung.

"You know, I.. I saw a lot of bruises on Seokjin," he bit the insides of his cheeks, "He's trying so hard to cover it up but it's just too much, Tae!" He exclaimed.

Taehyung took in a deep breathe washing his face with his barehands as he looked up in frustration.

Hoseok is the only person who can confront him regarding that issue, he knows the whole store even how Taehyung is becoming so abusive towards his boyfriend.

He genuinely tried to stop it but he cant. He even convinced Seokjin to atleast moved out just to make Taehyung realized his mistakes but the younger keeps on refusing.

"I cant help it!" Taehyung slammed his fist against the table.

He knows it, he's physically abusing Seokjin.

He loves Seokjin, that's why he tried so hard to ace everything that he is doing just so he could give the younger a comfortable life since they've been talking about living together after Taehyung graduated in college.

During those days, Taehyung even apologized to Seokjin for neglecting him for his schoolworks. He promised him that he'll make it up once everything is done and he was just trying to finish things so they should sacrifice a little for a better outcome.

He didnt expect for Seokjin to do such things, to cheat on him, to have s*x with someone and end up getting pregnant.

It hurted him so much.

He got so lost. It feels like half of his world was falling apart, literally.

And now, everytime that he'll look into Seokjin's eyes all he could remember was how it looks so miserable while continuously apologizing to him after he confessed about everything.

Taehyung wants to hate him and he really did hate Seokjin for tainting the love that they have for each other.

Hitting Seokjin until he's too sore to even stand up, while doing those things he couldnt think of any but the pain that he felt because of how he cheated but once it's all done, he feels bad that's why he doesnt even want to be in the same room as Seokjin- he feels guilty.

"He.. he apologized to me yesterday," Taehyung stared at his friend, "He's crying asking me for a chance." He sighed.

Hoseok then sat across of his friend protruding his lips.

"Give him a chance, seriously." Hoseok said with determination in his voice.

"I wont ever justify what he did, whatever the reason is, cheating is cheating." Hoseok bit the insides of his cheeks, "As he did that, you have all the reason to break up with him which you actually did but still, you accepted him again..."

"It's just that, you became abusive. You did things. How many years has it been? Five years, Taehyung. Five years of you continuously making him regret the things that he did. Dont you think he already paid enough for the things that he has done?"

"For how long does he need to pay for that night?" Hoseok looked at him straight in the eye, "For how long you'll try to hide your feelings?" He asked.

Taehyung shut his eyes closed, his friend's words lingering in his mind. It is actually messing him up.

He loves Seokjin. Back then and up until now, the love that he have for him is stronger than anyone could ever imagine.

But is Seokjin going to forgive him? He did a lot of things to him. Goodness!

Taehyung can clearly remember the look of exhaustion, pain and dissapointment visible on Seokjin's beautiful face everytime he'll continuously hit him.

"Do you think he can forgive me?" Taehyung asked.

Hoseok's face lit up with that question. Finally, after so many years, his friend is going to come back.

"Dont underestimate Seokjin's feelings for you, Tae." He said.

Taehyung smirked, "The last time I trusted him, he cheated and ended up pregnant." He said in almost a whisper.

"I honestly dont think Seokjin cheated because he doesnt love you..."

Hoseok crossed his arms, the young Seokjin momentarily crossed his mind and made him let out a small laugh.

"Seokjin was just childish, immature and not really responsible back then. Everytime he needs to make a big decision, you are always there to guide him," he shrugged his shoulders, "He thinks that you doesnt love him anymore, that's why he did that." He slightly shook his head.

"You think his reason was unreasonable?" Hoseok then nods his head, "Yes, it is so damn shallow but it's the eighteen year old Kim Seokjin we are talking about. So childish and immature." He said.

Hoseok really thinks that- that is the reason.

Seokjin lacks the ability to think wider before, to read between the lines, to actually think the consequences of his actions.

And his immaturity backfired causing him to mature quicker than he should be because he's carrying not one but two lives.

"But do you still love him, Taehyung?"

That's what matters the most, if they are still in love with each other.

"Yes..."
