CHAPTER TWO

Vivian who was now crying again after shouting at the handsome man who she just met , but now finds him unattractive since he refused to help her . please i need it today please.... please.... please.... mr know it all she cried. Adam now who was enjoying the show of vivian switching from yelling to crying finally said something. You know if you would have spoken politely to me as you are doing now I who have done it since , any way can you hand me your passport, voters card and national identity number if you have them of course now smiling at her. That was the most beautiful smile she had ever seen since her dad got sick , she hurriedly brought out the necessary documents and was screaming Thank you, Thank you without her knowing

Adam who couldn't help but enjoying the little drama she was making was now compelled to help her . He knew he wouldn't be able to make it home to the dinner but he was ready to do all that for this woman who he couldn't stop thinking about even if she was with him. He asked her some couple of questions required to set up the account

Your name please adam asked , Vivian Rowell , well my name is Adam jackson and not Mr know it all just thought to put that out there he said . He didn't get any response but he saw a hint of a smile from her through his side eyes . After about 10 to 15 minutes he was done with setting up her account , now it was 9:15 pm and in merry town it was very difficult to get a taxi around that time , and the sub way was a 20 minutes walk down .

vivian was very happy to know that she will be having a new account and by tomorrow afternoon she will be getting $500 that she was fantasizing how she did spend it on so many things mostly her parents feeding and treatments till she was woken up from her dream by her ringtone and a call from Sandra her room mate .

Hello Sandra , oh I got a hold up on something but I've gotten it done now . I'll be heading home very soon, okay see you soon bye . She checked her time and she was surprised how much time she had spent there . She thanked Adam and stood up from her chair and walked out side to call an Uber , when she did , all the drivers where refusing to come to that location since it was known for it's violence and bad life style and she couldn't get a single taxi or anything.

Adam was done setting up her account and was surprised how thankful she was for just something little as setting up an account and he thought to himself that setting this account must be very important to her . Vivian stood up after so much thank you and walked out and he could help but admire how beautiful she looked from behind and how gracefully she walked. He expected her to get a taxi but it looks like it was difficult to get one so he got up and went out to see the problem, What's the problem he asked ? I can't get an Uber or a taxi she said , well it's difficult to get a cab after 7 here and the sub way is 20 minutes away from here he said . Now vivian was more than frustrated she knew how long it got to convince Mr know it all and now she couldn't get home , little drops of tears hanged on her cheek. Adam wondered how easy it was for her to cry and how much It affected him when she cried , it felt like his heart was being squashed and pressed so hard that it was difficult to breath and would do anything to not see her cry . I can walk you down to the train station if you want , I'm not insisting tho only if you want that's all . Even though he craved to walked her down he'd never show it since he was a man of little or no emotion . She was surprised he was going to walk down after giving him an ear full but was happy he did

They both walked on the lonely street of merry town in silence since both of them where waiting on each other to start up a conversation, It's quite a lonely, bored and sad place to be called "MERRY" town vivian said chuckling , now Adam found him self laughing even after trying hard not to , she wasn't only beautiful but funny as well . I'm sure the person who named it was very sarcastic and ironic Adam said , vivian now was laughing at the top of her voice because she couldn't control it . shhhh bring it down you will wake up the merry people up he said laughing . They were both getting comfortable with each other that at some point they were hitting and touching each other while laughing . They didn't know they were already at the train station . There were few people waiting for the train back to Alvin's avenue , even if he had arrived at the train station he still didn't go back till he sees her get into the train . The train took a long time to get at it's stop so they both sat down a small bench where people can sit and wait for the train , the bench was so small that their bodies rubbed against it other that they could feel each other skin , vivian at that moment only wanted to do one thing and that was to hold this long skinny , veiny hand on hers so badly that she was shaking all over, she was getting hot at the thought of it and felt her body tingling till she heard the sound of the train and got back to her senses . She stood up and stood at the entrance of the train , well thank you for today truly I appreciate even for walking me down , no worry's that's what every gentle man will do which i am adam said chuckling and she did too , she was tempted to ask for his number but held back since she didn't know how he'd feel . Adam left the train station walking home with the regret that he wasn't able to take her number but he didn't know how she'd feel if he did . He have never liked some so much not to even mention at first sight. He doesn't know if he would met her again but she never left his mind ever since.
