Nine AM came and went.
Dr. Hartley's office called. "Mira didn't show for her appointment. Is everything alright?"
"No. She's been missing since dawn. We're looking for her."
"I'm calling the police to file a wellness check. If you find her, bring her directly to the emergency room. She's in crisis."
By ten AM, police had Mira's description. Her photo. Last known clothing.
