Leah “You two going to keep lying there or are you ready to face the day?” The somewhat familiar teasing voice roused her from the deep, surprisingly restful sleep and with consciousness came the excruciating pain. Leah groaned in answer, unwilling and unable for the moment to move. The warmth and the scent of forest pine and a fresh spring was soothing and she pushed her face deeper into the warm fluffy blanket. Why did she hurt so much? The question roused her memories and she froze when the last memory reminded her that she was not cuddling a fuzzy blanket. This was not possible!
