I hit send, feeling a pang of guilt. In the last three years, I haven’t been this late sending our anniversary message. CK was the first one to wish me a happy anniversary when my survival day came around a few months after we started talking, and it’s been our thing ever since.
I frown, staring at my phone for what feels like forever before I see the bubbles of an incoming text appear.
